My name is Nykki Hinton and I am our Family Support lead at Bilsthorpe FHA.

At BFHA we value our relationship with our families and community; it is important that we not only look after our pupils but are here to also support families too.  I am able to offer support to the whole family through guidance, advice and signposting to services that can further support and advise. This may be for concerns regarding sleep, health, finances or behaviour.

I can also lend an ear (and make a mean cup of tea☕) and, with two older children (and granddaughter) of my own, and many life experiences under my belt, I can relate and empathise to life's chaotic challenges.

I understand asking for help can be daunting, but there is no judgement at BFHA and no concern is considered too trivial.  We strongly believe that early help can prevent concerns developing and that having a supportive community through school is key to this.
