Year 1 visit the middle garden

Last night, our boys Year 5/6 football team represented our school with determination and pride. Well done Team Bilsthorpe.
F2 have had a wonderful morning accessing provision in their beautiful new outdoor classroom. Some children have been exploring measures, filling and pouring using water and containers. Others have been construction workers building lots of incredible buildings. We even had some mathematicians subitising numbers and using compare bears to help them build numbers to 10.
F2, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 4 visited the scout hut to participate in a range of Easter activities and learn about the Christian faith. Thank you to Danni Coles, Family and Community Coordinator and The Bilsthorpe Methadist Circuit who works with Bilsthorpe Methodist Church for organising this fabulous whole day event.

Year 1 and 2 have had a super day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park! They saw lots of animals and different habitats.
During PE, Year 6 had to show different ways od moving along the bench, hold a balance, an then perform a jump to the mat.
Last Friday and today we have hosted our family breakfasts to celebrate the special people in our children's lives.
Groups of children across school have been busy making chocolate rice crispy cakes to donate to the Bilsthorpe Emergency Team, who are putting on a bake sale to raise money to create an Easter Egg hunt for children in the village.
What an amazing World Book Day! The children all looked amazing, well done Team Bilsthorpe!
We finished off celebrating World Book Day by inviting parents and carers into school to share a story with their child/children. There was a range of fiction and non-fiction texts to explore and share.
Before half term the children took part in Safer Internet Day 2024. EYFS/KS1 completed a range of activities that identified lots of ways to keep ourselves safe online. KS2 engaged in an online lesson on AI technology where they were exposed to a range of digital careers.
