This week we have been SUPER busy! Monday we welcomed NSPCC who taught us the importance of ringing childline if we need to and what to do in uncomfortable situations. Tuesday we visited Bilsthorpe Heritage Museum and enjoyed discovering a range of artefacts and came up with a whole host of questions to ask the volunteers! We were delighted to see our work had been published on a remembrance display as we had researched the soldiers of WW1 who appear on the memorial in the village. We are working hard to create some persuasive information leaflets to see if we can increase the number of visitors to this wonderful place! Wednesday we welcomed Mr S (governor) who came and talked to us about what life was like after WW2. He shared his experience of rationing as well as playing football in the street (there were not many cards) as well as explaining how long it took to do the washing! This week was topped off by being the class with the highest score on Mathletics!
