The school is its own admissions authority but Nottinghamshire Local Authority coordinate our admissions. This means that the school sets its own admission policy but the Local Authority manage the process.

As an academy, Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy is it's own admissions authority and must meet all the mandatory provisions of the School Admissions Code (the Code) that came into force on 19 December 2014.

Nottinghamshire’s annual consultation on admission arrangements
The County Council is required by the School Admissions Code to determine admission arrangements annually. Any changes have to be consulted upon prior to determination.
This year, the consultation for the admission arrangements 2021-2022 will be open from 7 October 2019 until 24 November 2019.

Applying for a place for your child at Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy - If your child will be 5 years old between 1st September 2020 & 31st August 2021.

Primary to Secondary transfer for September 2020 start
Applications are now open for our current year 6 pupils to apply for a secondary school place for September 2020.
