Pupil Premium at Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy
What is Pupil Premium funding?
The school receives funding for all pupils who receive free school meals and who have received free school meals in the last six years. This is called Pupil Premium.
Department for Education statement:
- The Government believes that the Pupil Premium, which is additional to main school funding, is the best way to address the current underlying inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their wealthier peers by ensuring that funding, to tackle the disadvantage, reaches the pupils who need it the most.
- Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy, like all schools receives a Pupil Premium Grant. If pupils have registered for free school meals in the last six years; are looked after children or have parents that work in the armed forces, then they are eligible for the pupil premium.
- The document below is designed to make you aware of how much Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) the school has received and how it has been spent.
