Pre School

Mrs Tuck and Miss Townsend work in pre-school every afternoon from 12:30pm-3:30pm

Pre-school is all about developing the basic foundation skills of life. Here in Pre-school at Bilsthorpe flying high academy we bring curiosity and  awe and wonder into early childhood. By doing this we hope our children develop communication and language, social and personal skills to enable them to develop into the 'thinkers and do-ers' of the future.

Home Learning

Fantastic fine motor skills being used to thread the beads.

Enjoying mark making freely within the unit.

Marvellous Me!

This term our project question is: "What exactly makes you, you?". We will be exploring who we are as individuals, who our families are, and how to take care of ourselves. We will be taking part in activities such as creating self portraits, marvellous me show and tell, learning about the members of our families and developing our skills in self care.

We will also be learning independence skills. This half term we are focusing on how to find our own peg and put our coats on by ourselves

Exploring paints and colours. Painting our hands to feel the texture of the paint and of course to make hand prints.

Looking after our bodies, the children have been looking at different ways to look after ourselves, the animal and babies in pre school.
Fab job of brushing the hippos teeth.
Look back with pride and forward with confidence
