Every day is full of fun and learning in F1. Our classroom is based on the curiosity approach, this means we use open ended resources to allow the children to explore the classroom in their own way. Curiosity is an innate drive within young children and through our purposeful, thoughtful environment we can inspire children to be inquisitive and creative thinkers.
Please check out our class blog on purple mash which is being updated daily with phonics and maths lesson activities.
Virtual School -
Weekly Learning Grids!
Hello everyone, Miss Fecak here and welcome back to summer term!
As we can't be at school at the moment it's important we still carry on with our learning at home. For the summer term we will now be using a weekly learning grid which you will find attached below and on the class blog. We hope provides a little more flexibility as to when you complete the tasks at a time that suits you all. The grid will provide you with ideas and activities that you can implement at home to support your child. Each of these areas of learning are taken from our EYFS profile. These are covered consistently whilst your child is in school therefore, we ask that you continue to expose your child to a variety of learning opportunities at home. Enjoy playing and learning alongside your child, play is a vital part of our day so it’s important we still have chance to learn through play and exploration. If your child shows an interest in alternative learning that is great! It is always best to follow their lead and build upon their interests. So please do not feel restricted to the ideas suggested on here. I will also be uploading daily phonics lessons to youtube, so please check the class blog daily to find a link to the lesson. Below you will also find an adult input sheet which will provide guidance about the lessons. If you have any questions please drop me an email.
Don't forget you all have access to Mini Mash on the purple mash website, please log in and access the wide range of games and activities you have.
I am able to set tasks and pins so please look out for those too!
If you have any questions at all, please email me kfecak@bilsthorpefha.org
Just a quick message to say how much I have enjoyed being with F1 again , even though its only for a short while. I love seeing the work you have done on Purple mash , I have shared lots on the F1 notice page so you might want to check if yours is on there and look at your friends work as well .

Just a few more weeks to go so remember we love to hear from you .
