This afternoon, F2 did a marvellous job at litter picking around school. They have been learning about different ways to look after our environment, so they thought this would be a good way to kick-start the week!
Last week year 3 rearranged the tables to help them create Stone Age cave paintings. Later this term, this will be their history unit. The artwork helped them to get into the character Matthew from the book The Stone Age Boy. Next week, they will be writing a diary entry in the role of Matthew.
Year 6 have started the 'Dreams & Goals' puzzle in Jigsaw (PSHE). They set themselves a goal to achieve at school and at home, then considered the steps they needed to take to achieve these.

What a way to end the term! The pantomime at school was AMAZING! Merry Christmas and a huge thank you for all your support over this half-term. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and spend a lot of time with family and friends. Stay safe, and we will see you all back in the new year.

It was the turn of KS1! They did amazing at their nativity this afternoon!
Team Bilsthorpe loved our visit to White Post Farm today! The children in F2, Y1 and Y2 explored the farm, met real life reindeers and even had a story from the big man himself (Santa Clause) whilst cosying up in a sleigh. The children demonstrated lots of our values, we are so proud of them.
This morning F1 had an amazing morning performing a range of Christmas songs in front of their grown-ups.

So much excitement in F2 this morning. The children arrived at school and found a letter addressed to them and two gifts. I wonder who they could be from?
