Rise & Read – Starting Next Week!

We’re excited to introduce our new Rise & Read morning sessions for children from Year 1 to Year 6!

Every Wednesday morning, parents and carers are invited into their child’s classroom to enjoy a story together. It’s a lovely opportunity to spend some special reading time with your child, while also helping them get some extra reads recorded in their reading diaries.

When: Every Wednesday, 8:50–9:10am

Where: Your child’s classroom

This takes place during registration.

If you have children in different year groups, you’re very welcome to take it in turns each week to visit a different classroom. As this is registration time, it is important that children are in their own classroom during registration.

EYFS

We will eventually open Rise & Read sessions to our EYFS classes too as we move through the year. We will introduce this once the children are confidently coming into school and entering their classrooms independently.
