The week beginning Monday 10th March 2025 marks the start of British Science Week 2025. On Monday 10th March we are inviting the children to come to school dressed as a scientist and throughout the day, each class will move around school to complete a range of science experiments and activities.

F1 & Y6 joined together this afternoon to re-enact the stories 'Were going on a bear hunt' and 'Owl Babies'.

To finish off the wonderful day we had a 'Mad Hatters Tea Party' full of food, family and books.
Year 1 engaged well with the virtual author visit as part of World Book Day. They also created fortune-tellers of their favourite stories.
Year 3 had a great morning with Artist Jane! They worked on different printing techniques.

Year 6 played the role of palaeontologists on a dig in their science lesson. As their teacher read a script, they 'unearthed' some fossil bones and attempted to reconstruct the animal that the fossils represented.
Year 4 have mummified a tomato following instructions and adding adverbs to the instructions to create more detail.
