The Tour of Britain came through Bilsthorpe today and Years 1 to 6, lined the street to share their support. The children proudly waved their flags, wore their hats and cheered with excitement!

Day 1 -
We arrived mid morning and the children were very excited to get off the bus and get exploring. They have had a great first day at Conkers, building shelters and camp fires, investigating the Conkers site and improving our map reading skil

Tonight, our Y4/5/6 girls played extremely well as they secured a fantastic 2-2 draw against Newlands Junior School. They showed lots of pride, enthusiasm and resilience to get a great result - well done girls!

Our KS2 Boys football league match resulted in a victory. A very close match, with both teams having plenty of shots on goal. A goal after half time gave us the lead followed by with a long range strike which found the back of the net.
