Year 5 had a fantastic day at Vicar Water taking part in a Safety Awareness event!

The children learnt how to stay safe in a variety of situations, including around water, how to prevent fires in the home, and how to keep safe when near moving vehicles such as lorries.

These important life skills will support the children as they become more independent and help them make safe choices in the future.

We were also incredibly proud to see everyone representing our school so well — all children behaved brilliantly, showed great respect, and used excellent manners throughout the day. Well done, Year 5!
